Hello! I'm Samantha, a trombonist with a passion for sharing the joy of music. With 12 years of trombone experience, including two performances in Carnegie Hall, my journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a love for self-expression. Over the past four years, I've honed my teaching skills, offering a diverse range of private lessons that cater to students of all levels. Whether you're a beginner seeking a solid foundation or an advanced player aiming to refine your craft, I bring a wealth of experience and a personalized approach to help you achieve your musical goals. Let's embark on a musical journey together!
I've had the incredible opportunity to perform on some amazing stages and collaborate with talented musicians. In 2022 and 2023, I played with the Mostly Modern Orchestra, working alongside composers like Joann Falletta, Aram Demirjiran, Scott Terrell, and Peter Bay. Throughout my four years at Stetson University, I was part of various ensembles, including the Symphonic Band, Symphonic Orchestra, and Trombone Choir. Carnegie Hall also holds a special place in my musical journey, as I had the honor of performing there in 2016 and again in 2022.
Working with Ms. Venable really helped me to improve my trombone playing abilities. My technique has improved greatly, and I feel like a much more capable trombone player!

Sam was amazing! Her concert was fantastic and I was genuinely mesmerized by how she sounded out there. It was an experience I won't be forgetting any time soon, and I want to go to her concerts as well.
